Medaus žemė is an oasis of peace surrounded by the forests of Dzūkija, right on the lakeshore. Here, nature and people meet without rush: mornings begin with gentle light through panoramic windows, and evenings end with stars above the water. The cabin is built from natural, sustainable materials, with love for detail and respect for the earth. Guests discover authenticity and silence created by bees, forest, and water. You can enjoy a hot tub, apitherapy in the Bee House, walks in the forest, local breakfasts or dinners, and educational experiences about bees and living honey. This is a place where thoughts slow down and space for yourself appears.

Medaus žemė was created so that people could escape the rhythm of the city and feel the harmony of nature. Here, every guest is welcomed like a friend, and every moment becomes an experience you want to take with you.

Medaus žemė is located in complete seclusion, surrounded by Dzūkija forests, with the nearest neighbors more than a kilometer away. There is no tourism around the lake, no other homesteads or people – just us and wild nature. Here you are surrounded by forest silence, the calm of water, and complete privacy, allowing you to relax in a way that is rarely possible elsewhere.

This is a place where nature becomes your only neighbor.

The Cabin

Upon entering the cabin, you will find yourself in a peaceful shared space designed for relaxation. There is a comfortable double bed, from which you can watch nature awaken through panoramic windows. You will also find a small kitchenette equipped with all necessary dishes and tools.

Next to the large windows, there is a relaxation area with two comfortable chairs and a table – a perfect spot for quiet conversations and rest.

The cabin also includes a bathroom with a shower, toilet, toiletries, towels, and bathrobes.

The cabin is fully surrounded by nature, which you will feel both inside and outside.

As soon as you step outside, you will find a terrace with a table and chairs, as well as a hot tub for your perfect relaxation.

We offer seasonal breakfasts and dinners prepared by the hosts. Meals are homemade, often using local ingredients and produce from our own farm. Catering is available for an additional fee and can be ordered in advance or upon arrival.

For breakfast, we prepare healthy forest and home-grown plant smoothies enriched with bee products.

We serve homemade goat and cow cheese and bake natural sourdough bread – everything is fresh, local, and authentic.

For dinner, we offer dishes prepared by the hostess. There is no fixed menu – we cook what comes from the heart that day, just like for our family and guests. It is cozy, homemade, warm food reflecting our lifestyle and Dzūkija traditions.

Features

The cabin has one double bed and no additional beds.

We can accommodate:

• 2 adults, or
• 1 adult and 1 child (5–18 years old) if sharing the same bed

We also accept children up to 3–4 years old if parents choose to sleep together in one bed (no extra charge).

We cannot provide additional sleeping arrangements, so the cabin is not suitable for larger families or more than one child.

Pets are generally not allowed, but exceptions may be made for small dogs upon prior agreement.

There is no Wi-Fi in the cabin.
