Get Lost Cabins: Yellow Cabin

Get Lost Cabins – our (Ramunė’s, Hugh’s, our dog Pipiras, and three cats’) home, surrounded by the meadows, pine forests, and a lake of Dzūkija. Here, you can escape from the everyday and unwind – (metaphorically) getting lost in slow days, good books, or by the campfire under the starry sky. We invite you to visit our secluded, lovingly handcrafted cabin hidden in the woods.

The Cabin

The Yellow Cabin is a retreat in the wild forests of Dzūkija, where Lithuanian coziness meets Scandinavian spirit. Here, modern elements blend with authentic antique details, creating an unusual but beautifully harmonious picture. Large wooden windows let you enjoy stunning forest views and enhance the feeling of being close to nature. Inside, you’ll find many cozy details, and we hope you’ll feel how much love and effort the hosts put into creating this cabin with their own hands. The walls are covered with natural clay plaster, the furniture is custom-made, and even the floors were hand-poured!

Inside the cabin, you’ll find a comfortable kitchen area with all the necessary appliances for cooking. There’s an oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, pots, pans, and utensils. The central area of the cabin is designed for relaxation – a cozy sofa, a unique chest serving as a table, and an antique rocking chair that invites you to sit back and unwind. The dining table and a bookshelf are also incorporated into this space.

The cabin has two separate bedrooms with double beds. We’ve paid special attention to ensuring a restful sleep – the mattresses are comfortable and high-quality, and the bedding is soft and cozy. The cabin also includes a shower and a WC.

Outdoor Relaxation Zones
There are several excellent outdoor zones for relaxation:

• Terrace – large, comfortable, with a dining table, Kamado Bono grill, and transformable chairs that work both for dining and relaxation. The terrace is accessible directly from the cabin’s main relaxation area, allowing you to enjoy the peace and beauty of nature.

• Firepit area – an ideal spot for cozy evenings around the fire while watching the starry sky.

Amenities

The cabin is fully equipped with all the essentials – a kitchen, shower, soft towels, bedding, and air conditioning.

Cooking

• Indoor kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, pots, pans, dishes, and utensils.

• Outdoor area: Kamado Bono grill and the necessary tools. No extra charge, just bring your own charcoal.

• Nearest cafes are about 18 km away, in Druskininkai.

Additional Features

The cabin is located in a secluded spot, and to reach it, you’ll need to drive along forest paths (about 10 minutes). This only enhances the feeling of escaping the hustle and bustle of the city. There’s no Wi-Fi in the cabin, and the phone signal is weak, so you’ll truly disconnect from technology and enjoy complete relaxation.

On-Site Activities

• Walks in the forest, swimming, or rowing on the nearby lake (about 70 meters away).

• During cooler weather, enjoy cozy time inside – books, board games, and beautiful forest views from the cabin windows.

Druskininkai – about 18 km away, a resort town with plenty of places to visit.

Seasonality

The cabin is available to stay in all year round.

Additional Services

• Hot Tub – located about 100 meters from the cabin, reservations are needed at least one day in advance (price: 50 EUR).

• Paddleboards – can be reserved in the next step.

• Telescope – can be reserved in the next step.

• Pets are welcome (additional 10 EUR charge per night).

• Children are welcome (free for children up to 2 years old, older children are considered additional guests, with an extra charge if there are more than 4 guests in the cabin). We do not provide baby cots or high chairs.

• Guests are welcome by reservation only, no outside visitors.
