Atokvėpis

Atokvėpis is a cozy cabin nestled in the forests of Dzūkija. As soon as you arrive, you’ll be embraced by the canopies of birch, pine, and spruce trees, their gentle rustling, and the natural harmony of the surroundings. Thoughtfully designed and warmly furnished, the cabin offers a perfect escape from everyday worries and a chance to truly unwind.

The Cabin

Upon entering, you’ll find a bright and inviting open space equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay in nature. There is a comfortable double bed, as well as a small kitchenette with all the necessary cookware and utensils. For your convenience, you’ll find coffee, tea, salt, pepper, and oil.

Next to the panoramic windows, there is a relaxation area with armchairs and a table – a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the forest views.

The cabin also features a bathroom with a shower, toilet, toiletries, towels,  bathrobes and slippers

If more than two people are staying overnight, the house has fold-out armchairs where you can sleep.

Outdoor Areas

The outdoor spaces are designed for cozy and comfortable relaxation in nature. Right next to the cabin, you’ll find a terrace with a hot tub, while a winding path leads to a relaxation area with a fire pit and barbecue.

Nearby, among the trees, there is a hammock – a perfect place to relax. Here you can unwind during the day while watching the clouds and listening to birds, and in the evening enjoy a cozy fire or the warmth of the hot tub.

Outdoor Relaxation Zones

Several great outdoor areas are prepared for your leisure:

• Terrace – located next to the cabin, with chairs and a hot tub

• Fire pit area – a cozy space with outdoor seating and a grill, firewood

Amenities

The cabin includes all essential amenities: a kitchenette, shower, soft towels, and bed linen.

Cooking

Indoor kitchenette: electric stove, pots, pans, plates, and all necessary utensils for cooking and serving. Coffee, tea, salt, pepper, and oil are provided.

Outdoor area: barbecue grill, fire pit, and firewood available.

The nearest grocery store (“Aibė”) is about 2 km away.
The nearest cafés are in Varėna (about 10 km away): “Šaka” and “Grilis”.

Features

A travel crib/playpen for babies can be provided. We also have a high chair available. No additional fee is charged for children under 4 years old.

Pets are welcome. Food bowls are provided, and there is no extra fee for pets.

Activities on Site

Forest walks, making a fire, nature watching, relaxing in a hammock, reading books, or simply unwinding.

Nearby Attractions

• Barčiai Mound – a beautiful hillfort about 2–3 km away

• Varėna – a town about 10 km away, where you can visit cafés or a swimming pool with saunas (opening hours depend on the season)

• Čepkeliai Nature Reserve – a bit further away, but a great destination for nature lovers. There is a visitor center and an educational trail with a viewing tower (access only with a reserve guide). Nearby you can also visit the authentic Dzūkija village of Marcinkonys

Getting There

Easy access: 250 m from the main road via a gravel road, followed by 100 m through a forest road.
