At Alnus Kiemas, we lovingly cultivate an environment where we ourselves would love to rest — fragrant with garden blossoms, inviting for picnics in the young grove meadows, and perfect for complete relaxation while listening to the sounds of the forest.

The Cottage

The Cottage AKACIJA  is a place where the spirit of a traditional Lithuanian countryside granary meets the comfort of modern relaxation. Every detail here has been thoughtfully designed to create a cozy, peaceful, and inspiring atmosphere.

On the ground floor, you’ll find a bright, open-plan living area with high ceilings. A dining table, a compact but fully equipped kitchenette, and a lounge space with a sofa, an armchair, and a projector seamlessly blend into one harmonious whole. It's a perfect spot for quiet evenings or simply enjoying the stillness. The bathroom on this floor features underfloor heating and is decorated with eye-catching handcrafted tiles.

The mezzanine level hosts the main sleeping area. A spacious and comfortable double bed sits beneath a skylight, gently waking you with natural morning light. An additional sleeping space is located downstairs in the lounge area. The cabin is ideal for one, two, or three guests.

The interior reflects simplicity and natural aesthetics, subtly enriched with traditional Lithuanian details. Ornamental stair railings, a traditional woven bedspread, straw mobiles (sodai), and a restored vintage radio all add a sense of character and warm nostalgia to the space. This is a retreat where you can slow down, disconnect from daily routines, and simply be.

Outdoors, in the inviting terrace area, you’ll find everything needed for comfortable open-air leisure – a small table with armchairs, sun loungers, and most notably, a Japanese-style ofuro hot tub. It offers a truly serene SPA experience, surrounded by nature.

AKACIJA is more than just a place to stay — it’s a space where history, aesthetics, and quiet coexist with nature.

Cooking Options

• Indoor kitchenette: refrigerator, induction hob, pot, frying pan, dishes, tools, manual coffee grinder, coffee maker.

• Outdoor area:  barbecue, matches, flammable liquid, firewood (conifer) bucket for ash.

• Picnic basket – perfect for a meal in the meadow!

Additional Features

Besides this cabin, the property also features another one – GLUOSNIS. The two are about 50 meters apart and separated by an old, uninhabited farmhouse — a nostalgic relic from the past — along with mature mountain pines and a fence.

To ensure privacy and tranquility, the terraces of each cabin are oriented in different directions, and each has its own cozy and private space.

On-Site Activities

Enjoy the peace of the forest, nature walks, and wild herbs both within and beyond the property. Time flows slower here — we invite you to pause, relax, and connect with the natural rhythm.

During colder weather, cozy up in the cabin — enjoy a projector, board games (chess, checkers, UNO, ALIAS Junior), and a warm atmosphere with forest views.

• A bike ride to Birštonas – a popular resort across the Nemunas River

• Pociūnai Airfield – enjoy scenic views from above
